Senior Project Manager: Electrical Engineering

We seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Project Manager to expand our data center design services. The ideal candidate should possess a background in technical design and consulting, coupled with expertise in client interaction, business development, and project leadership. Our specialists excel in technological facility innovation, working with intricate and data-centric companies to meet contemporary data requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design and consulting projects as a technically focused Project Director of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support for project managers in technical/commercial planning, contract negotiations, change management, client communication, and commercial oversight.

• Engage existing technology clients to identify opportunities for expanding relationships and service offerings.

• Conduct targeted outreach to potential new clients to broaden our sector coverage and enhance our involvement in active sectors.

• Research major opportunities and programs requiring pre-positioning and master service agreement arrangements.

• Develop annual and long-term business plans, encompassing client development, strategic project positioning, skills enhancement, marketing plans, industry outreach activities, service offering development, and staff development.

• Collaborate with S&I leaders, involving multinational client management, global project pursuits, global frameworks, and staff mobility.

• Play a significant role in driving the growth of the Data Center market across the broader Americas region.

• Contribute to overall team management, ensuring cohesion and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specializing in Electrical, Mechanical, or Architectural disciplines.

• Possess a minimum of 12 years of substantive experience in delivering design and consulting services tailored to the needs of technology/mission-critical clients.

• Maintain a Professional Engineering license.

• Demonstrate a well-established professional network within the Data Center marketplace.

• Exhibit a proven track record in orchestrating cross-sector project delivery teams, encompassing in-house interdisciplinary and sub-consultant groups.

• Function in the capacity of a design/consulting project manager with over 5 years of experience leading design teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for owner/clients, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of project intricacies and the ability to guide teams comprising architecture/civil/structural, MEP, and specialist consultants.

• Display a preparedness to travel and engage in collaborative efforts with teams on local, regional, and global scales.
